Basement excavation work well underway
The existing concrete outhouses which were contaminated with asbestos have now been demolished and disposed off site. Behind is the contractors site compound. Basement excavation work well underway. The excavated spoil will be used to increase the levels of nursery whilst reducing the amount of spoil disposed off site. Due to the high water table a dewatering system is required in order that the large pit can be drained whilst excavation takes place, this also ensures the sides of the excavation stay intact. The mechanical engineer for Harkel Building Services, Phil Gibson marching across the site! Formation of the new access road which will run from the main road to the new relocated nursery. Existing office and barn which are to remain intact/operational until the new permanent structures are constructed.
